This is such a beautiful cross! Our highly polished Sterling silver over Pewter Two-Tone Celtic Cross Pendant on 18” Chain with 2” Extender features a total of 10 ichthus. The top and side arms of the cross each contain two of these ancient symbols, forming three Eternal flames- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The elaborate knotwork is highlighted by the use of shining gold overlay, for a very dramatic effect. People will ask you about this cross! From the Greek word for “fish”, the Ichthus symbol was used by early Christians to acknowledge a fellow believer in Christ without the need fro exchanging any verbal communication. Ichthus can be found within the Celtic Trinity knot pattern. The number 10 symbolizes completion (10 Commandments).
